Technology for Housing
Bringing Together Assistive Technology and Affordable Housing
A Real Choice Systems Change project
Web site sections: In this section:

Project Representatives

The project is funded by a Real Choice Systems Change grant from the United States Centers on Medicare and Medicaid Services to the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS), and is being managed by the Office on Seniors and People with Disabilities. DHS is the agency responsible for funding and overseeing the Medicaid services received by low-income seniors and people with disabilities.

DHS is collaborating on the implementation of this project with the Oregon Housing and Community Services Department. This is the state agency that administers programs for the development of affordable housing in Oregon.

DHS has contracted with Eugene Research Institute to implement various project activities, including this web site.

The public is also involved in the project through representatives who participate in a Stakeholder Advisory Council. This group includes consumers of services for seniors and people with disabilities, public and private sector rehabilitation professionals, contractors, architects, and housing developers, families and caregivers, as well as assistive technology experts.
